NOTICE FOR BID
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that sealed bids will be received by the Director of Purchasing of Putnam County for the following commodities and/or service:
RFB-27-12   MAYBROOK BIKEWAY II – PHASE A – TOWN OF SOUTHEAST
Detailed specifications may be secured at the office of the Director of Purchasing, County of Putnam Office Facilities, 110 Old Route 6, Building No. 3, Carmel, New York l05l2 between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday or you may download from the Hudson Valley Municipal Purchasing Group’s website.
Sealed bids must be filed in the above office on or before l:00 P.M.,THURSDAY, JULY 5, 2012.
Plans will only be available for pick-up on CD (compact disc) in PDF format.  Paper copies of the plans will not be available.

The following public hearings have been scheduled for June 18, 2012 at 6:00PM (or as soon thereafter as agenda conditions permit) at the Putnam Valley Town Hall, 265 Oscawana Lake Road, Putnam Valley, New York, 10579. All interested parties are invited to attend and will be heard. A copy of the application materials and plans may be inspected during normal business hours at the office of the Planning Board Clerk, Town of Putnam Valley Town Hall.
1.       Once Upon a Time Day Care Center, 47 Peekskill Hollow Road

The subject property is located at 47 Peekskill Hollow Road and consists of 4.86 acres of land. The applicant is requesting a special use permit to re-open a day care facility within the CC1 Zoning District.

The subject property consists of 0.44 acres of a land and is located at 20 Hillair Road, and within the LP Zoning District.  The subject property is currently developed with a single family residence, asphalt parking area, patio, septic system and well.  The applicant requires a major grading permit for +/- 250 of fill that was deposited on the property to level the rear yard.

NOTICE OF RECEIVERSHIP OF TAX LOTS 72-1-1, 72-1-50, 72.19-1-29,83-1-1 AND 83-1-11, AKA CIMARRON RANCH, IN THE TOWN OF PUTNAM VALLEY, NY.
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on November 9, 2009 the Supreme Court of the State of New York, IAS Part, Putnam County issued an order for the appointment of a Receiver for the implementation of the Plan of Restoration, dated May 6, 2009.  On February 21, 2012 Mr. Bruce M. Donohue, at 13 Promised Road, Westport, CT 06880, was appointed to the position of Receiver by Order of the Court to perform the prescribed duties.  All persons or entities asserting claim against Mr. Alexander Kaspar, as owner of these properties, must do so in writing to the Receiver ‘s attorney, Mr. Joseph Maria, Esq., at 301 Old Tarrytown Road, White Plains, NY 10603, by  December 8, 2012 date or the claim will be disallowed.  Claims will be acknowledged and claim numbers assigned by the Receiver.  After all claims have been submitted and reviewed and the date to submit claims has past, claimants will be advised of the disposition of claims submitted.  All claims should be sent via e-mail to Mr. Joseph Maria, Esq., attorney to the receiver, at jmariapc@optonline.net.
