LEGAL NOTICES for January 25, 2012

Notice of the formation of Media Pantry LLC (the “LLC”) pursuant to §206 of the LJCL. Articles of Organization filed with the Secretary of State of New York (the “SSNY”) on July 6, 2010; The county within the State of New York in which the office of the LLC is to be located is Putnam County; The SSNY is designated as the LLC's agent upon whom process against the Company may be served; The address to which the SSNY shall mail a copy of any process against the LLC served upon the SSNY is: Betsy Matos-Carone, 35-37 Paulding Avenue, Cold Spring, NY 10516; The LLC shall not have a registered agent within the State of New York; The LLC does not have a specific date of dissolution in addition to the events of dissolution set forth in §701 of the LLCL; The purpose of the business of the LLC is to engage in any and all lawful business activities.
The Town Board of the Town of Putnam Valley will receive bids for the following:
2012 or 2011 New, unused Ford F350 crew cab 4 x 4
400 HP 6.7L Diesel Engine
Automatic transmission
White, with vinyl interior
Plow, Tow Package
16 inch tires
Two week delivery
All Ford Motor Company fleet discounts must apply
Bids will be received until February 8, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. All bids are returnable to the Office of the Town Clerk, Town Hall, 265 Oscawana Lake Road, Putnam Valley, New York 10579. The Town reserves the right to waive any irregularities or informalities in or reject any or all bids.

Local Law #1 of 2012
LOCAL LAW #1- Amend Article 9 of the Putnam County Charter Entitled “Department of Highways and Facilities”
This Local Law amends Article 9, Sections 9.01 & 9.03 of The Putnam County Charter by removing the requirement that the Commissioner of Highways & Facilities and the Deputy Commissioner of Highways & Facilities be a resident of the County of Putnam, but that he/she reside within 50 linear miles from the highway Department Offices.

BE ADVISED THAT on January 9, 2012 at 7:00P.M. EST, the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Philipstown North Highlands Fire District held their Annual Organizational Meeting. The Agenda was as follows:
Newly elected Commissioner, Josephine Rupp, took Oath of Office as Commissioner for a five-year term beginning January 1, 2012.
Commissioner George Lisikatos was nominated and accepted the position as Chairman of the Board.
Commissioner Josephine Rupp was nominated and accepted the position as Vice Chairman of the Board.
Re-appointed Secretary/Treasurer, Kristin Van Tassel, took Oath of Office as Secretary/Treasurer for a one-year period beginning on January 1, 2012.
The Law Office of Wein, Young, Fenton & Kelsey were appointed Legal Counsel for the District for the period of 1/1/12 through 12/31/12. 
The Putnam County News and Recorder and The Journal News were designated as the official Newspapers for the District.
The M&T Bank, Wells Fargo, and Chase were designated the official depositories for the District.
The Second Thursday of every month at 7:00 P.M was officially designated as the Regular Meeting Date for the Board of Fire Commissioners.
The First and Third Friday of each month at 5:30pm was officially designated as Special Meeting dates for the Board of Fire Commissioners.
Board of Fire Commissioners accepted Chief Patrick Scherer, First Asst. Chief Joseph Hyatt, and Second Asst. Chief Christopher Hyatt for a one-year term.
Board of Fire Commissioners accepted John Noschese as Safety Officer. All Board Policies were reviewed and Committees approved.
