Francis "Patrick" Lahey

Francis "Patrick" Lahey, age 55, of Beacon, died on Tuesday, August 5, 2008 at Phelps Memorial Hospital in Sleepy Hollow, NY.

Born in Cold Spring, on April 27, 1953, he is the son of Francis J. "Terry" Lahey and the late Joan (Matthews) Lahey.

Mr. Lahey, a graduate of Alfred College, worked as a Regional Supervisor for the NYS Office of General Services in the Design and Construction Group. He was a Beacon resident for over 30 years and a parishioner of St Joachim/St. John parish in Beacon.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie S. (Walbridge) Lahey of the home address; one son, Khristopher M. Decker, of Buffalo, NY; one daughter, Kerry and Thomas Brady, of Stormville, NY; and one grandson, Ethan Patrick Brady. He is survived also by his father, Francis "Terry" Lahey, of Cold Spring; maternal Grandmother, Mary Matthews, of Cold Spring; four brothers, Terrance and Constance Lahey of Verbank, NY, Kevin and Amy Lahey of Garrison, Joseph Lahey of London, England, and Matthew Lahey of Cold Spring; four sisters, Kathleen and Joseph Percacciolo of Cold Spring, Bridget and Joseph Immorlica of Newburgh, NY, Eileen and Todd Dahlia of Cold Spring, and Joanne and Anthony Percacciolo of Cold Spring; and 24 nieces and nephews also survive him.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Saturday, August 9, 2008 at Our Lady of Loretto Church, 24 Fair Street, Cold Spring, NY, followed by interment at Cold Spring Cemetery. Friends called at the Clinton Funeral Home, Cold Spring, on Friday, August 8. Donations may be made in Mr. Lahey's name to the American Cancer Society, 220 Route 6, Mahopac, NY 10541.
