BE ADVISED THAT on January 12, 2017 at 6:30P.M. EST, the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Philipstown North Highlands Fire District held their Annual Organizational Meeting. The Agenda was as follows:

Newly elected Commissioner, Josephine Rupp, took Oath of Office as Commissioner for a fiveyear term beginning January 1, 2017.

Newly elected Commissioner, Amy Locitzer, took Oath of Office as Commissioner for a one-year term beginning January 1, 2017.

Commissioner George Lisikatos was nominated and accepted the position as Chairman of the Board.

Commissioner Josephine Rupp was nominated and accepted the position as Vice Chairman of the Board.

Re-appointed Secretary/ Treasurer, Kristin Van Tassel, took Oath of Office as Secretary/Treasurer for a one-year period beginning on January 1, 2017.

The Law Office of Young, Fenton, Kelsey & Brown were appointed Legal Counsel for the District for the period of 1/1/17 through 12/31/17.

The Putnam County News and Recorder was designated as the official Newspapers for the District.

The M&T Bank, Mahopac National Bank, and Chase were designated the official depositories for the District.

The Second Thursday of every month at 7:00 P.M was officially designated as the Regular Meeting Date for the Board of Fire Commissioners.

The First Friday of each month at 5:30pm was officially designated as Special Meeting dates for the Board of Fire Commissioners.

Board of Fire Commissioners accepted Chief Patrick Scherer and First Asst. Chief Joseph Hyatt, for a one-year term.

Board of Fire Commissioners accepted Kristin Van Tassel as Safety Officer. All Board Policies were reviewed and Committees approved.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Village Board of Trustees of the Village of Cold Spring will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at Village Hall, 85 Main Street, Cold Spring, New York beginning at 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, to consider a proposed local law to amend the Village Code of the Village of Cold Spring Chapter 126 Vehicles and Traffic at §126-18 Parking at Chestnut Street Plaza, Parking at Butterfield Memorial Hospital and Handicapped Parking, 126- 23 Penalties for parking violations, 126-30 U-turns, 126-32 Stop Intersections, 126-34 Schedule VII Speed Regulations, §126-35 Schedule VIII, No Parking at Any Time, §126-36 Seasonal Parking Restrictions, §126- 37 No stopping or standing, §126-39 Limited time parking and to add a new section §126-42 Restricted parking of Chapter 126 of the Village Code. The proposed legislation amends the Village Code to improve parking and traffic control.

A copy of the proposed local law may be reviewed at the Village Hall at 85 Main Street, Cold Spring, New York, during normal business hours. Written comments may be submitted prior to or at the public hearing. Oral comments may be made at the public hearing. Persons may appear in person or by agent. The Village Board of Trustees is the Lead Agency pursuant to the State Environmental Quality Review Act for this Unlisted Action.
